2016 Scholarship Applications

We offer a university scholarship of $1,200 to each of the six high schools in Greater Moncton, as well as two $1,000 scholarships to mature women for full-time studies at university, and a $500 scholarship for mature women for part-time studies at university. New this year are three scholarships of $600 each for local women attending college - 2 for high school graduates and 1 for a mature woman.

51st Annual Book Fair

THANK YOU GREATER MONCTON!

CFUW Moncton wrapped up a successful 51st Annual Book Fair, along with our partners the Greater Moncton Business & Professional Women. It takes many hands working together to make the Book Fair such an extraordinary event, and we would like to thank all you wonderful people of Greater Moncton who offered your helping hands in so many ways – donating books, receiving the donations at the Fire Stations, providing a place to work for many weeks, working the Book Fair at the Beaver Curling Club for the last time, dealing with the recycling, and above all, coming to shop at the Book Fair. Your kindness has been returned back to the community in the form of scholarships and bursaries to local students.

Thu Mar 30, 2006: Toss a Toonie in the Tub

CFUW Moncton members are supporting the Stephen Lewis Foundation, an organization working to ease the pain of HIV/AIDS in Africa, by "Tossing a Toonie in the Tub" at their March and April meetings.

Thu Mar 30, 2006: 44th Annual Book Fair!

The 44th Annual Book Fair will be taking place at the Beaver Curling Club at 73 Capitol Avenue on the following dates:

  • Thursday, May 11th, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
  • Friday, May 12th, 2006 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Saturday, May 13th, 2006 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Donations of books, records, tapes, CDs, DVDs, and puzzles are accepted at all Moncton, Dieppe, and Riverview fire stations. Funds raised will go to CFUW scholarships, the Moncton Hospital Burn Unit, and the Atlantic Burn Camp.
